Mother’s Day is coming! Are you ready?
Being a mother is first and foremost the most difficult role a woman can ever play. Even if we don’t actually give birth to that child, our capacity for love, compassion, and frustration is increased tenfold because that child calls us, “Mom”. Every mother I’ve encountered tells me how hard it was when the kids were little, as though it’s code for “it’ll get better”. And every mother also says those snotty nosed little butts eventually do grow up, faster than you realize. Those early childhood days are the most precious, before the influx of hormones, growth spurts, and general awkwardness.
I’ve curated some special pieces that any mother would love to receive. Pearls symbolize wisdom acquired through experience. Goodness knows the mothers in our lives have gained a little bit of both. The Chinese Knot Flower Necklace represents the garden of life our mothers have so carefully tended to.
For those in the Southern California area, I will be at a Pop-Up in Laguna Beach, Saturday, May 13th, at Sourced Collective from 12pm to 5pm. This gives you the opportunity to see these pieces as well as the rest of my jewelry collection up close and personal.
